January's almost over and I haven't even put up my Christmas pictures yet.
Here are a few:
Grandma Jan and Papa John got the girls Tini Puppini's. It's one of the two things Megan asked for. Abby asked for anything that had a commercial. :)
The girls took Aunt Jessie outside to help spread the reindeer food. Abby made the food in preschool (oatmeal and glitter I think).
And here are the milk and cookies for Santa! We leave Rudolph a carrot and a bowl of water.
I didn't get a whole lot of pictures on Christmas Day because I run the video camera, but here are a few at my parents' house.
Here are the kids with cousin Peyton and of course toys!
Grandma Jan always reads to the kiddos.
Peyton got the girls a beader for their hair for Christmas. Everyone liked it... even Uncle Bubba!

We bought our first gingerbread house kit today. The girls (mostly Megan) have been begging me to get one. I thought it would be a lot harder than it was, but it was easy and a lot of fun!
This was probably the hardest part... waiting! Once we got the sides and roof up we had to wait 15 minutes before decorating the rest. It seemed like hours to the girls of course!
I didn't get any in between pictures because I had to do most of the frosting parts. Frosting on a camera can't be good.
The trees didn't want to stay up. I don't think they'll last long anyway, the girls have been asking when they can start eating. I want them to at least wait until dad gets home from work and can see it.
Here's a side view.
And here are the very helpful and sweet little decorators!

Christmas card pics
I am finally getting around to taking the picture for the Christmas cards. We have pictures from school but not enough to send to all of our friends and family so I like to take one for all to see.
This was the last one I took. As you can see Abby wasn't too happy. She started pouting so I knew it was time to stop trying to get a good shot! Santa knows when you are pouting Abby LOL!
Here are the girls getting cozy with their daddy. This is the spot they love to be.
Awww!
Our poor tree is pathetic. I leans to the left. I had it long before I even met Joe. Sadly this may be its last Christmas.
So sweet and innocent!
This is the picture we're going with.

Here's what I did today!! After 8 years and 3 months of marriage I finally got it -- my dishwasher! It's my Christmas present. I've always said I don't want something that is for the house or work to be a present but you know what, I don't care this time. I'm so excited! Now I have to wait for my brother-in-law to install it but I'm sure he'll get to it soon.
Also today we got the tree out of the attic. The girls really enjoyed decorating it. There are a few branches that are loaded with three or four ornaments but that's what makes it so cute. Aunt Jessie brought the girls shirts home from Italy. I think it means hello pretty girl. Correct me if I'm wrong Jess (I know you will LOL). Well, that's all for now. I have dishes to wash since my dishwasher isn't hooked up yet.

Happy Thanksgiving!
Happy Thanksgiving!!
I remembered to take my turkey out of the freezer in enough time this year. Last year I had a frozen turkey the night before and ended up staying up half the night changing water to thaw it out. I did learn my lesson. We'll be having our Thanksgiving feast tonight. Joe's parents and brother and niece are joining us. My family is in Ohio at my brother's house. Before they left Aunt Jessie stopped in to see us last night. Here are the indians and pilgrim (or pilgram as Abby says).
The girls are now making place setting cards and we also have plans to make a "pin the tail on the turkey" game. They're excited.
Have a happy Thanksgiving!!

My first blog!
I always read blogs and think someday I'm going to start one. Today is that day! Joe's at work, Megan's at school, Abby's at preschool and I am ALONE. I finished all of my typing last night so this is how I'll spend the morning.
How do I start a blog? If you're reading this you probably already know who I am. To those who don't I'm Amy, a SAHM, well I guess I'm a WAHM now. I type Q&A's for insurance claims from home. I enjoy it but most of all enjoy being home with my girls and taking care of the home. I have a wonderful husband, Joe. We've been married for 8 years. We have two daughters, Megan is 6 and Abby is 4. Megan's in kindergarten and Abby's in preschool. They are both growing up so fast. That is my life right there!
